About

I'm a writer and theatre producer. As a writer I work in all mediums: theatre, radio, TV, film, digital and prose.

As a writer I am currently working on a novel The Calling and developing a performance piece from the magpie myth One for Sorrow...about secrets in a small community which was developed under seed commission to National Theatre Wales. I have also been working on a project about development in Aberystwyth called Re-Tell and a play about a woman in a flooded house facing the end of the world.

A short play Poo Karma and Arctic Exploration was part of Agent 160's Fun Palace at Wales Millennium Centre. My short monologue, One Hour and Forty Five Minutes, written for Dirty Protest Theatre's plays-in-a-bag project was produced at the Royal Court, Theatre Clwyd and National Theatre Wales' Dirty Gifted and Welsh.

My short audio drama Cursed was produced for EarCandy.  My TV Script Dead Gran Walking was placed top 12 (of 250) in BBC Drama Wales Award and top 25 (of 2,500) Red Planet Television Prize in 2012.

I run PlayPen and the Crash Test performance scratch night supporting and mentoring writers for performance.

For Scriptography Productions, I produced a new play To Kill a Machine by Catrin Fflur Huws about  Alan Turing which will be touring Wales, London and Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year and a cross-artform project Response Time, a performed response to art, space and environment which began as a pilot project at the Gas Gallery in Aberystwyth, we have also responded at Artes Mundi 6 at the National Museum Cardiff, Tim Shaw's Black Smoke Rising at Aberystwyth Arts Centre and Cassandra's Rant by Shani Rhys James at Ceredigion Museum.
